Matt Clough grew up in the urban Mayberry known as Richmond, Virginia, the river city. There, he attended both the Henrico High School Center for the Arts (where he discovered that love does, in fact, make labor light) and Douglas Freeman High School (where he learned Spanish and bro-speak). He is now majoring in illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art in sunny Baltimore, MD, the city that reads. He is inspired by Ted McGrath, Jaime Zollars, Matthew Lyons, Jonathan Viner, Alex Deranian, Zach Hazard Vaupen, Alexis Morgan, Rothko, Japan, food, television, and many other people, places, and things. (I'm leaving this line to drive Graphic Designers crazy)
